The vintage Crackle Glass Vase is a One-of-a-Kind, handblown piece. Given the style that is similar to other West Virginia glass companies, I suspect the glass artist is from the same area. This 6.5-inch vase features a grass green color in an ombre gradation, where the base is almost a soft blue, while the glass incorporates grass green frit as it moves to the top. It also has a blue frit and amber frit incorporated (see pictures) and green striping towards the top. Along with the crackling, it makes an interesting effect! Based on my research, I believe the vase was made in the early 1970s. It is a substantial piece, weighing just over 1 pound.
The vase is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
