Extremely unusual Independent Truck Company belt buckle, designed in the form of an actual skateboard truck complete with wheels.
This is a fantastic piece of Independent Trucks / skateboarding memorabilia and is considerably more unusual than the standard flat Independent cross-logo buckles.
The buckle is a substantial three-dimensional metal piece, with the skateboard truck itself forming the main body and the wheels incorporated into the design.
Why this is interesting
Independent Truck Company has been one of the most iconic names in skateboarding since its founding in 1978, and vintage Independent merchandise has become increasingly sought after by collectors of skateboarding history, punk/skate culture and Y2K/90s streetwear.
This particular 3D skateboard-truck design is very unusual, and I have been unable to find another example identical to this one during my research.

Condition
The buckle has been used and shows age-related wear, surface marks and patina, as clearly visible in the photographs.
There are areas of surface wear to the metal and some signs of previous use, but the overall structure of the buckle remains intact.

I believe this is a genuine vintage Independent Truck Company item, but I am not an expert in vintage skateboarding memorabilia and I cannot independently verify the exact year of manufacture.
