Vintage Hand Carved Macassar Ebony Striped Bali Wood Lady Bust 7.5" Indonesia. Approximately 19 cm (or 7.5") tall. Unmarked, but this is a Balinese lady bust Carved from Macassar Ebony, likely from around the 1950s. Unlike African Ebony, which is quite dark, macassar Ebony is lighter with high contrast Stripes. Intricately Carved with lotus flowers in her hair. In great condition with no chips or cracks. Art deco style. A stunning addition to any collection.
