Description

This is a vintage French brass carriage clock by Mappin & Webb.

It has an unusual solid case with only the glass to the top showing the wheel movement. Estimated date of manufacture is the latter part of the 19th Century. It has heavy weight and good large proportion.

It is sold as spares or repair as the ratchet when winding does not appear to locate and just turns. I am unsure of how to remedy this but am sure under an expert hand it could be repaired.
The case ais in good structural condition and the clock is sold in untouched condition.

It measures is 15cm high to top of the handle and is 9.75cm wide.

Please see description above and photos for confirmation of condition.
