This massively impressive Seanchan Warrior / Soldier chest and back armor with shoulder epaulettes and arm protection is from The Wheel of Time, produced by Sony & Amazon Prime 2021-2025, based on the novels by Robert Jordan. Wardrobe Director Sharon Gilham described the suit in an Instagram interview. This suit is made in solid thick leather, hand painted, patterned, adorned, and is heavy. The sizing is XL. Weight: 12 lbs Chest plate 21" w x 24" tall, not including the shoulder epaulettes. *This listing is for the armor only in the main photo, chest and back plates and epaulettes. Any additional items like the shirt, trousers, helmet, etc, are not part of this listing, but shown for illustration and screen match purposes.
Several leather straps hold the shoulder and arm leather in place and there are side buckles for the chest and back plates that connect on both sides, they provide several inches of adjustment.
The medallions has incredible detail, weathered as by battle and resemble bronze. The leather is hand-painted and intricately cut in a unique format that makes it appear as diamond cut. It's no secret that this show had a massive wardrobe budget, and I can see that they spared no detail.
Authenticity: this item is screen matched AND I purchased this directly from the Sony studios wardrobe sales company. There is no COA provided from Sony but I can provide a COA myself as I purchased it from their wardrobe thru their specific sales channel. I have been onsite to the Wardrobe warehouse several times.
