About This Item:

A Japanese boy's ceremonial kimono, of the kind worn for a child's formal shrine visit. The deep teal ground is woven with a diamond lattice and carries five family crests. A hawk is worked in gold and coloured threads across the back, set among pine, drifting cloud bands, a castle and a stream. Fully lined.
It measures approximately 37.4 x 37.4 in (95 x 95 cm) laid flat and weighs 13.1 oz (370 g).

Condition:
