BG Nexus Antique Brass TV Aerial & RJ45 CAT6 Data Socket - Black Insert
BG Euro Module components, supplied together as a complete kit. Modules clip into the front plate during installation.
This antique brass plate combines a screened TV aerial point with an RJ45 CAT6 network outlet, so you get both from a single wall plate instead of two separate accessories. It suits a wall mounted TV, a media wall or a home office, where the television and a wired network connection are needed in the same place.
The data outlet is an RJ45 CAT6 socket supporting speeds of up to 10Gbps at 250 MHz, giving a stable wired connection where Wi-Fi is unreliable. It uses an IDC terminal connection with no soldering required, and has ID windows so each point can be labelled. The TV point is an IEC female return outlet carrying TV, FM and DAB. Screened outlets contain a metal casing around the contacts acting as an earthed Faraday cage, preventing external RF signals from interfering with the reception.
Plate aperture 50 x 50mm, each module 25 x 50mm. Requires a standard UK back box, minimum depth 25mm. Moisture control gasket and earth terminal fitted. TV outlet and plate certified to BS 5733.
