The JJC RN-GR filter is a purpose-built adhesive lens filter designed exclusively for Ricoh GR IV / GR IIIx / GR III series cameras. Featuring an adhesive mounting design, it attaches directly to the front of the lens in seconds with no tools required, providing full protection against bumps, dust, and debris. The lens incorporates an L39 cut-off coating that effectively blocks ultraviolet light below 390nm. With 19 layers of optical coating on each side including an AR anti reflective coating covering the 400-680nm wavelength range, it suppresses ghosting and eliminates reflections, reducing reflectivity to as low as 0.15%. Additional coatings deliver scratch resistance, anti-static, oil-resistant, and water-resistant performance. Light transmittance reaches up to 99.3%, ensuring accurate color reproduction and natural-looking results.
Crafted from high-hardness optical glass, the lens resists scratches and impacts with outstanding durability. The lightweight aluminum alloy frame features a built-in 40.5mm filter thread at the front, allowing you to stack additional 40.5mm filters such as black mist, CPL, and ND filters for expanded creative possibilities. The filter uses premium eco-friendly adhesive for a secure hold and clean removal when needed (follow the included instructions). Additionally, when installed on RIC. GR series cameras, this filter is compatible with the JJC LC-GR3 and LC-GR4 dedicated metal lens caps, provided no additional filters are stacked on the front. A complete set of dedicated removal tools is also included for convenient installation and removal.
