The king of slab woods. Guanacaste (Parota) is Nicaragua's most spectacular table wood — huge live edge slabs with wild, swirling caramel-and-chocolate grain that looks like it was painted by hand. Each table is built to order from a single slab in our workshop in Nicaragua.
Every slab is unique. After you order, we send photos of available Guanacaste slabs in your size so you pick the exact piece that becomes your table.
■ ABOUT GUANACASTE
- Bold interlocking grain with dramatic honey, amber, and coffee tones
- Nicaragua's national tree — slabs come from storm-fallen and salvaged trees
- Surprisingly light for its size, warm to the touch, ages beautifully
- The #1 choice for epoxy river tables — blue and turquoise resin glows against it
