Original Soviet military field grouping consisting of a desert/tropical field jacket, matching Panamka sun hat, Soviet badges and a metal transport case.
The previous owner stated that the set came from his grandfather, who served in Afghanistan. This provenance cannot be independently verified and is therefore offered as reported.
The set includes three original Soviet military badges: the Warrior-Internationalist of the USSR badge, awarded to Soviet servicemen who served abroad (most commonly associated with Afghanistan), the Guards Badge for elite Guards formations, and an Excellent Parachutist qualification badge. Together they complement the field-worn appearance of the uniform and make the grouping an excellent display piece.
