The document also states that this was one of 53 engines of this style operated by Sinclair-Cudahy, Sinclair, Standard and Service Pipe Line Company, and that it was originally installed as part of the War Pipe Line.

This is an exceptional piece of early American industrial, petroleum and pipeline history, particularly because the original paperwork corresponds to the 0-248 number stamped on the Worthington nameplate.

The brass plate has an attractive aged/patinated appearance consistent with its age and industrial use. It has mounting holes in all four corners and shows normal scratches, surface wear and oxidation from age. Please examine all photos carefully for condition.
