In original antique carved and gesso frame with glass. It had been laid to hard thin cardboard, a common practice. It has an indistinct very light word below the left foot, most likely from a fine maker in Italy. It has been removed from frame for examine. You can see it had been in this frame for a long time. Pictures have been taken disassembled. You can see the pencil marks to frame. If you prefer we can ship without the glass for safe transport. Please advise.
