I have for sale the 1906 official souvenir medal for the celebration of William Jennings Bryan's return to the United States after his year long trip around the world.  The celebration took place in New York City in September 1906.  Bryan was a Democratic and a leader in the party at that time.  He was nominated three times by the party to run for president, and he lost all three, 1896, 1900 1908, times.  Fairview was his home in Lincoln Nebraska that he built in 1902.  The medal has three parts and in a high grade circulated condition.  The top pin back bar looks to be nickel plated. The bar reads OFFICIAL SOUVENIR - WELCOME HOME - SEPT. 1906.  The flag ribbon is slightly faded and has a small wear area under the center of the top bar.  The medal looks to be nickel plated, 1 3/4 inch diameter and in a high grade circulated condition.  The obverse shows the raised bust of WILLIAM JENNIGS BRYAN with his name.  The reverse at the top reads FAIRVIEW and at the bottom LINCOLN, NEB. and in the center, it shows the Bryan home.  Please see over 950 more collectibles for sale in my EBAY STORE at TE COLLECTABLES.  (20,414 ORC)(TOE)
