Boss CS-2 Compression Sustainer guitar effects pedal, made in Japan.

Produced between 1981 and 1986, the CS-2 uses a Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA) circuit, offering a faster attack than the earlier CS-1. It is highly regarded for its musical, fattened tone and is well suited to classic rock and country rock styles.

This pedal has been tested with both a battery and power supply and is working well.
