Glimpses of the Next State: The Education of an Agnostic

W. Usborne Moore

Watts & Co

First Edition

Description:

A fascinating early twentieth-century psychical research study documenting mediums, séances, and evidence for survival after death.

Moore's investigation explores spiritualist phenomena through rigorous personal inquiry, detailing the author's encounters with prominent mediums, physical phenomena, and claimed communications with the deceased. Arthur Conan Doyle described Moore as "among the greatest of psychic researchers". Yet he was critiqued for being easy to fool by fraudulent mediums.  Rare memoir and dedicated to his spiritual companion.
