These PRC-25 Radios are ex-South Vietnamese Army radios that were captured by the NVA in 1975 when the country fell. The unified PAVN army pressed these radios back into service from 1975 onwards, retiring them in 2020. These radios were most famously used during the Cambodian Vietnamese War and the Sino-Vietnamese war. Some have been refurbished since then to upkeep function. Since scrapping in 2020, the internals of these radios have been completely removed. The inside is only a hollow box. This serves as a perfect item for display or reenacting without wearing and tearing an original. Due to the hollow internals, a Baofeng mod is an ideal use case for this radio. Convert the shell to use a cheap Baofeng without worrying about vintage, difficult to source and test components. Ideal for reenactors
