Vintage infant long coat, hand knitted.  Suitable for DISPLAY ONLY - or perhaps for dressing a doll or teddy bear.  There are no labels.  Probably made around the 1940s/1950s.

Measurements are (approx): chest 14 inch, length 13 inch. 

Condition:  This is a very old baby coat, and NOT suitable for actual use.  It has been recently handwashed, to freshen it up.  It has kept its colour and shape well, with only mild age-related discolouration.  There are a few pulled stitches and the loops for fastening the top two buttons are missing.
