The Slow Stick Sport F version is a Slow Stick type plane, designed with a foam core based wing to reduce build time and expertise, just light sanding required on the foam element since it's hot wire cut, not injected. In the bottom photo's shows the pre-launch photo's of the Slow Stick Sport B version which is the same plane with a balsa built up wing instead of foam core.
Wingspan, 39 inches.
Weight, 1 pound flying weight.
The kit contents includes all of the laser cut balsa and thin ply wood and EPS foam, with "3d printed control horns ASA Filament stock" composite hinges and clear Doculam for the covering, it's the same weight and better strength then Ultracoat Parklite. The included wing-plan is printed quality paper sheets and the text build instructions and photo's are shared at my web site. The 1/4" dowels are not included, they can be purchased at most crafts stores and walmart.
The fuselage stick design is meant to be interchangeable between all of my Slow Stick lines so that you can have several sets of different wings and tail assemblies to swap out and not have to build out and gear up a new fuselage for each.
No electronics are included but I do point people to where they can source them, they are inexpensive, standard Park Flyer scale compliment easy to acquire. Other then glue, piano wire and Velcro, nothing else is needed to complete this kit.
Gear used for this plane but not limited to:
2212 KV1400 Motor
9x6 Propeller
9g Micro Servos
30A ESC
7.4V 1100mah Li Po battery
You can use even old brushed and nimh gear with this plane just like the original GWS Slow Stick used.
I am showing the Slow Stick Jenny done up in blue along with, it is one of a few other versions of Slow Stick planes I've developed.
Support is happily extended over the phone, email, web site, social media, or in person if you are local to my area in Yacolt Washington USA. I manufacture the kits locally using quality balsa and 3d printed ASA stock.
