Description: three gem-set stars form a pendant of 9ct bonded gold on 925 silver, UK hallmarked

Chain length: 45 cm

Pendant length: 4.3 cm

Gold Plated: uses electricity to bond a thin layer of gold onto a base metal like brass or copper, the least durable

Gold Vermeil: a sterling silver base and a minimum gold thickness of 2.5 microns, a more durable and hypoallergenic option

Rolled Bonded (Gold Filled): uses heat and pressure to fuse a thick layer of gold to a base metal, usually brass but sometimes silver, much more durable than vermeil or plating
