Wel, well, well. 'Cafe Del Mar' is 30 years old already. How did that happen? When this was released in 1993 it became an instant Ibiza classic and was hammered all around the island. Three decades later and still nothing sums up a trip to the Balearics more than this tune with its rush of euphoric synths, expansive atmosphere akin to looking out over the crystal blue waters around the White Isle and its pulsing electronic drums. These two mixes are the first of a few the original Superstition Records label is putting out to mark its anniversary.
