Bavaria 1855 silver 2 Gulden Madonna monument in Munich; large Crown-size commemorative. Ludwig I era, 1-year type in AU condition; scarce this nice.

A relatively common type with a fairly large mintage but rare in better grades. Large Crown-size coin - about 35.9 mm in diameter, 21.21 grams, inscription on the rim. Scarce Almost Uncirculated with just a few typical bag marks; seems to be old cleaning with a new light-gray patina developing since.
