remarkably rare and highly collectible G. Boley Triangular Bed Watchmakers / Clockmakers Lathe manufactured in Germany circa 1880s.
Unlike more common later models, this early precision instrument features Boley’s distinct half-round, triangular bevelled bed design, engineered for unparalleled accuracy in early horological and high-precision mechanical instrument making. This setup is beautifully presented inside its original fitted wooden chest, complete with a fantastic array of period-correct accessories, collets, and historical reference material secured to the inner lid.
