CALCITE and ARAGONITE - 6.6 cm - Fluorescent

HOGAN MINE, ARIZONA

This is a good small cabinet fluorescent specimen from Arizona. The Hogan Mine is near the more well known Purple Passion Mine which also produces bright multicolor fluorescent material.

On this specimen the calcite fluoresces bright red under UV SW. The white fluorescing areas are aragonite.
