Youngju Daejanggan preserves the tradition of Korean blacksmithing developed
over more than 50 years. Each knife is forged and finished individually,
giving it the distinctive character of an authentic handmade tool rather
than a factory-mass-produced product.

Each knife is individually handcrafted—no two pieces are exactly alike.
HANDLE STYLE NOTICE
The knife may be supplied with a round or oval/tapered wooden handle depending
on the production period and available handmade stock. Wood color, grain and
engraved details may also vary.
CARE & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Inspect the knife before use and use it only for its intended purpose.
2. Handle the blade and sharp cutting edge carefully. Use suitable protective equipment.
3. After use, remove all moisture from the steel immediately.
4. Apply a thin coating of food-safe cooking oil before storage to help prevent rust.
5. Store safely and keep out of reach of children.
6. As this is a forged steel knife, natural patina or surface changes may develop with use.
