HALITE CRYSTALS - Lot of 9 - 2.8 cm

Fluorescent! - SALTON SEA, CALIFORNIA

These are good examples of the halite crystal groups from the Salton Sea. The fluorescence of these specimens is very intense, but also consistent. They make a wonderful fluorescent display.

These are crystal of halite that formed on roots and branches of a plant. Some of the crystals have roots in them. Also it is said that all of these specimens came from an old hydrothermal well drilling project, and not from the shoreline.

The auction winner will receive the lot of 9 crystals seen in the above photos.
