This is a striking Serigraph silkscreen print from world renowned Navajo (Dine) artist, Harrison Begay.  Begay studied at the Sante Fe Indian School with Dorothy Dunn and was her last surviving pupil.  He painted murals for the WPA during the Depression and, serving in the Signal Corps during WW2, was part of D-Day in Normandy.  He specialized in silkscreen and watercolors that described Dine life and he co-founded Tewa Enterprises in 1951 (on the back of this print) in Sante Fe. His Dine name was Haashke yah Niya.  The condition is good and it is nicely matted and framed.  The site size is 6" x 5 1/4" and framed it is 10" x 11".
