DCC Fitted DAPOL N Gauge 2D-001-003 Class 33/0 'D6539' British Railways Green With Small Yellow Panels

Thank you for viewing our listing for this N gauge model of the characterful Class 33, manufactured by Dapol (2D-001-003). It carries the running number D6539 and is presented in British Railways green with small yellow panels to either end, white cab window surrounds and a white band to the bodysides. The loco has been DCC fitted with the address set to #3. The loco will run on analogue layouts as well but performance will always be best with digital control.

The model features a plastic body on a die-cast chassis. It's a nicely detailed model with separately fitted handrails and etched side grilles. It features working head & tail lights (just illuminated blinds in the case of the 33) - there is a switch on the underside allowing separate control of the tail lights.

The loco is presented in fair, used condition and has been test run to ensure proper operation. Unfortunately there is one buffer head missing. The additional detailing parts and instructions are present. There are some small paint dots to the underside (the previous owner's DCC identification system). The box and outer cardboard sleeve are in good condition with some shelf wear. Please view all of the images to help gain a better understanding of any damaged areas.

This is a nice model of an unmistakable class of loco with the added benefit of DCC control. It would make a great addition to your layout!

ABOUT US - TEST TRACK MODELS

Hi, I'm Tom, a model railway lifer and car tragic. I've spent many, many hours working on model railway layouts at home, being roped-in by my dad at a young age! I also have a passion for cars and used to collect 1:18 scale examples.

With over 10 years' experience buying & selling on eBay and having spent all of my working life in different levels of retail I decided to take a risk, leave my career and set up Test Track Models, intending to bring good value to a strong selection of pre-owned model railway items, cars of all scales and perhaps the other odd thing in between.

It's been exciting so far (and a steep learning curve) and I look forward to where it might end up.

I commit to reusing packaging where I can to lessen any impact, and using options such as paper packing tape.

With thanks,
Tom
