Quando i Giganti Dominano la Terra
I Mostri di Livello alto sono sempre stati i più grandi, i più amati e i più celebri del Gioco di Carte Collezionabili di Yu-Gi-Oh!, compresi i più potenti di tutti: le tre Carte Divinità Egizie!
Ma nonostante tutta la loro forza e la loro gloria, l'elevato costo in Tributi li ha sempre resi una strategia rischiosa nei tornei.
Battle Pack 2: Guerra dei Giganti porta finalmente questi colossi al centro dell'azione, con un ambiente di gioco progettato appositamente per loro!
Scoprirai presto che nel regno dei giganti valgono regole completamente diverse:
- I Mostri con Tributo sono i sovrani!
Potrai Evocare Specialmente Mostri di Livello inferiore per preparare il terreno, ma l'unico modo per schierare un vero gigante sarà rispettare le leggi della natura... ed effettuare un'Evocazione tramite Tributo!
- La battaglia decide tutto!
Gli effetti che distruggono le carte sono quasi inesistenti. È il momento di rispolverare le tue capacità di combattimento, perché se vuoi eliminare il Mostro del tuo avversario dovrai sconfiggerlo sul campo di battaglia!
- Ogni carta conta!
Gestisci con attenzione le tue Carte Magia e Trappola. Avrai a disposizione armi segrete per ribaltare le sorti dello scontro... ma anche il tuo avversario! Starà bluffando? Conviene costringerlo a utilizzare prima le sue Magie e Trappole oppure lanciarti subito all'attacco per travolgere i suoi Mostri? La scelta è tutta tua!
Ogni carta presente in Battle Pack 2: Guerra dei Giganti è stata selezionata e bilanciata con estrema attenzione rispetto alle altre carte dell'espansione. L'esito di ogni Duello dipenderà dalla tua strategia e dalle tue decisioni tattiche. Preparati a mettere alla prova e migliorare le tue abilità nella sfida definitiva del Duello!
Cinque Carte per Bustina
Proprio come nel primo Battle Pack, ogni bustina di Battle Pack 2: Guerra dei Giganti contiene 5 carte. Troverai 1 Carta Rara (con il nome stampato in nero lucido) e 3 Carte Comuni, ognuna scelta per svolgere uno specifico ruolo all'interno del tuo Deck. La quinta carta sarà una nuova e spettacolare rarità chiamata Carta Rara Mosaico. La tua Carta Rara Mosaico potrà essere qualsiasi carta dell'espansione, rendendo ogni bustina una vera sorpresa!
NOTA SPECIALE: Come si addice al loro status divino, le tre Carte Divintà Egizie sono disponibili esclusivamente come Carte Rare Mosaico! Non potranno essere trovate negli slot dedicati alle Carte Rare o Comuni.

Riepilogo: Cos'è la Modalità Sealed Pack?
La pubblicazione di maggior successo del Gioco di Carte Collezionabili di Yu-Gi-Oh! nel 2012 è stata Battle Pack: Alba Epica, l'espansione che, dopo dieci anni di storia del gioco, ha introdotto ufficialmente la Modalità Sealed Pack.
La Modalità Sealed Pack trasforma le bustine in un gioco completamente autonomo.
Riunisciti con i tuoi amici (o rivali!), dividete un numero uguale di bustine, apritele, costruite nuovi Deck utilizzando esclusivamente le carte trovate e iniziate subito a Duellare!
Tutti partono dalle stesse condizioni. L'unica cosa che conta è ciò che saprai fare con le carte che hai ricevuto.
Una volta terminato il Duello, naturalmente, le carte resteranno nella tua collezione, permettendoti di aggiungere fantastiche carte al tuo Deck tradizionale. Considera la Modalità Sealed Pack come un nuovo modo di aprire le bustine, rendendo ogni apertura ancora più divertente! Con 215 carte disponibili in Battle Pack 2: Guerra dei Giganti, nessun Duello sarà mai uguale al precedente.
Idee per la Modalità Sealed Pack:
- Riunisci tre amici e dividete una scatola di Battle Pack 2: Guerra dei Giganti. Costruite i vostri Deck e affrontatevi in un torneo all'italiana. Il Duellante con il maggior numero di vittorie alla fine della giornata sarà il campione!
- Continua l'esperienza creando una lega tra amici. Ogni volta che vi incontrate, aprite nuovi Battle Pack e aggiungete le carte ottenute al vostro pool personale. Tutti dovranno utilizzare esclusivamente le carte provenienti dai Battle Pack della lega, ma potranno modificare il proprio Deck ogni volta che vorranno.
Oltre alle sfide tra amici, continueranno a essere organizzati numerosi eventi Battle Pack Sealed Pack nei negozi aderenti e durante le principali competizioni, comprese speciali versioni Sealed Pack delle Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series. Duellare in formato Sealed è il modo migliore per prepararsi alle competizioni ufficiali.

When Giants Rule the Earth
High-Level monsters have always been the biggest, most popular, and most famous monsters around, including the baddest monsters of them all, the three Egyptian God Cards!
But despite all their power and their glory, the high Tribute costs of these monsters have always made them a risky strategy in tournament play.
War of the Giants finally brings these titans front and center, with a game environment designed specifically for them!
You’ll quickly find that the land of the giants has its own laws of the jungle:
- High-Level Tribute monsters are king!
You’ll be able to Special Summon lower-Level monsters to help set things up, but the only way to get a goliath on the field is to obey the laws of nature, and Tribute Summon!
- Trial by combat!
Effects that destroy cards are practically non-existent. Brush up on your battling skills, because if you want to get your opponent’s monster off the field, you have to beat it fair and square!
- Every card counts!
Wage war with your Spell and Trap selection. You’ll have secret weapons to tilt the battle in your favor – but so will your opponent! Is he bluffing? Should you bait out his Spells and Traps, then go in for the kill? Or launch a frontal assault to overwhelm his monsters? The choice is yours!
Each card in the War of the Giants has been carefully selected, and weighed against other cards in the set. The outcome of a Duel will depend on strategy and tactics. Get ready to test and improve your skills, in the ultimate Dueling challenge!
Five Cards Per Pack
Just like the first Battle Pack, each pack of War of the Giants comes with 5 cards. You’ll get 1 Rare Card (with a glossy black card name) and 3 Common Cards, each chosen to fulfill a specific role in your Deck. Your fifth card will be a new type of shiny card called a Mosaic Rare. Your Mosaic Rare could be any card in the set, so it’s a true wild card.
SPECIAL NOTE: As befits their divine status, the three Egyptian God Cards are available only as Mosaic Rares! You won’t find them in your Rare or Common card slots.

Recap: What is Sealed Pack Play?
The hottest Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG release in 2012 was Battle Pack: Epic Dawn, the set that finally brought sealed pack play to Yu-Gi-Oh!, after 10 years in the making!
Sealed pack play is how you take booster packs, and make them into a game by themselves.
Just get together with your friends (or rivals!) and split up some packs. Open your packs, make brand new Decks just from those cards you got, and start Dueling!
Everyone starts off clean. The only thing that matters is what you can do with the hand that’s dealt ya.
Of course, after you’re done playing, you’re still left with the cards from your packs. So you can walk away with some awesome cards for your regular Deck and collection. Think of sealed pack play as a way to open up booster packs like you always do, and get a ton of bonus fun while you’re at it! With 215 cards in Battle Pack 2: War of the Giants, no two Dueling experiences will ever be the same.
Sealed pack ideas:
- Get 3 friends and split 1 box of Battle Pack 2: War of the Giants. Construct your Decks and duke it out round-robin style. The Duelist with the most wins at the end of the day is the winner!
- Keep it going by making an internal league with your friends. Each time you get together, split up some more Battle Packs and add the cards you get to your league card pool. Everyone agrees beforehand to ONLY use the cards from their league Battle Packs. But you can change up your Deck from day to day, as long as you stick to using just those cards.
Besides Dueling with your friends, there will continue to be a ton of Battle Pack sealed pack events at local stores and major competitions, including special sealed pack versions of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series. Dueling sealed style with your friends is the best way to practice and sharpen your skills for sealed pack competition!
