Pack includes:- one unpainted Class 55 Deltic power unit.

Class 55 locomotives are fitted with two 18 cylinder Napier Deltic D18-25 type power units each rated at 1,650bhp and coupled to an English Electric generator.

This detailed model of one Class 55 power unit is intended to be uséd in depot/workshop or scrapyard scenes on your layout.

This model is supplied unpainted, on the print sprue, and will need to be carefully removed by using fine Sprue Cutters.  Once removed from the sprue a light coat of primer is recommended before painting as desired to suit your layout.

Note:- since the Deltics were built there have been many minor variations in the power units; this model represents a 'typical' power unit and generator of the type fitted to Class 55 Deltic locomotives.
