An A2 poster showing Fergus Greer’s contact sheet from his Session VI , Look 32 March 1992shoot with Leigh Bowery.

From 1988 to 1994, Fergus Greer photographed Leigh Bowery in his costumes, documenting each Look in a series of images. This poster shows 12 black and white images taken in Session VI, Look 32, showing Bowery wearing a stretchy suit that covers his entire head and body, with an enlarged head and protruding, ball-like ‘stomach’. The suit is loose fitting apart from the arms and hands, and has the words ‘A cunt’ written across where the face would usually be. Each image shows Bowery in a different pose, as though he were performing a dance.

Printed on 150 gsm symbol satin paper, the landscape format poster measures 42 x 59.4 cm, making it a great fit for our A2 picture frames.
