This DC power module is a step-down controller. Considering the voltage drop of the photovoltaic panel wires and the low voltage of the photovoltaic panel on rainy days, the open circuit voltage of the photovoltaic panel must be higher than the 18V input when charging a 12V battery. Two 18V photovoltaic panels are connected in series: for example, 18V-72V is charged with 12V, and 42V-80V is charged with 24V
Debugging method
1. Connect the 16V-80V photovoltaic panel input first (prohibit overvoltage input, and pay attention to the positive and negative poles). Connect the wiring correctly and the power indicator light will light up. And the output indicator light is on, jump directly to step 3
If the power indicator light is on after connecting the input, but there is no output voltage, the MPPT potentiometer needs to be adjusted counterclockwise until there is voltage output and the output indicator light is on
3. Adjust the output of 12V battery to 14.2V, 24V battery to 28.4V, and 48V battery to 56V
4. Connect the battery and use a multimeter to test the input voltage. Adjust the MPPT potentiometer to make the input voltage equal to the maximum power point voltage of the photovoltaic panel (i.e. the working voltage of the photovoltaic panel). The open circuit voltage of a single string of 18V photovoltaic panels is about 21V, and the working voltage is 18V; the open circuit voltage of a single string of 36V photovoltaic panels is about 43V, and the working voltage is 36V; the open circuit voltage of a single string of 43V photovoltaic panels is about 49V, and the working voltage is 43V. Different specifications of photovoltaic panels have differences, and you can refer to the default parameter settings on the back of the photovoltaic panel when it leaves the factory
