This hollow-formed pottery figure shows simple, expressive modeling consistent with late Edo (江戸後期) to early Meiji (明治初期) folk devotional (民間信仰) objects. The clay texture and remaining pigment traces suggest age-appropriate wear. Surface abrasions and minor losses are present, honestly reflecting its historical use within a Shinto (神道) context.
