  • I am so excited to be able to offer you a gorgeous vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Gray Pie-Pan Dial 2-Tone Ref.1601 Men's automatic watch.
  • Original Rolex factory gray dial has minor dents and scratches near the center of the dial (see my photos closely).

The stainless steel Oyster case, screw down caseback, yellow gold fluted bezel and crystal are all in good condition for its age.
The dial is fitted with gold hands & baton indexes and a date window at 3 o'clock position which is a great asset to this vintage.
The robust 36mm stainless steel Oyster case with a screw down Rolex crown has remained in good condition with general wear but no significant damage.
In fully working order- runs strong and tells good time, powered by a reliable Rolex 1570 movement with 26 jewels.
Reference and serial numbers are both sharp and strong.
Serial number 527**** says it dates to 1977.
It will come on the generic brown leather strap.
