A beautiful Halcyon Days English enamel box in the shape of a globe, titled "Endangered Species of the World."

The lid is hand-decorated with a world map, endangered animals from each continent, a compass rose, and an Albert Schweitzer quotation, all richly finished in gold.

This is part of the prestigious Bilston & Battersea Enamels Revival, By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen, made in England.

The spherical hinged lid opens and closes smoothly.

It measures approximately 6 cm in diameter and weighs 82 g.

Please note that no display stand is included.

Condition:

Very good with only very minor gilt wear to the rim; please see all photos, which form part of the description.
