AirBeast SC-01 Super Chrome

Product Features

A premium chrome paint designed to deliver an outstanding mirror-like chrome finish.

  • Produces an exceptional chrome and mirror effect unlike conventional chrome paints.
  • Performs well at low air pressure, reducing paint consumption while making application easier.
  • High success rate even in humid environments.
  • Fast coverage with excellent hiding power.
  • Maintains a high-gloss finish even after applying water-based clear coats or candy colors.

Thinning

  • Ready to use.
  • No thinning required. Pour directly into your airbrush or spray gun.

How to Use

  1. Apply a high-gloss black base coat until a piano-black finish is achieved.
    • Recommended: Tamiya LP-1 Gloss Black.
  2. Spray SC-01 Super Chrome over the gloss black surface.
  3. Apply multiple light coats with an airbrush for the best chrome effect.
  4. Recommended air pressure: 15–25 PSI.
    • A moisture filter/water trap is recommended for your air compressor.
  5. If the surface temporarily appears slightly hazy due to a wetter coat, don't worry. As the paint flashes off and dries, the mirror-like chrome finish will develop.

Recommended Clear Coat

For the best gloss retention, apply a water-based clear coat (low-solvent type) after the chrome paint has fully cured.

Notes

  • Designed for airbrush and spray gun application.
  • For best results, always apply over a smooth, high-gloss black base.
  • Surface preparation and spraying technique will significantly affect the final mirror finish.
