This tiny forest began with a feeling I’ve been chasing for years: the quiet that comes from wandering beneath trees, watching sunlight filter through leaves, and noticing the wildflowers growing unnoticed beneath your feet.

About the Artist

Hi, I’m Saffron.

Art has always been the place I returned to when life became overwhelming.

As a student, I spent years trying to turn my creativity into a side business. Slowly, making art became less about wonder and more about numbers, algorithms, and whether a piece would be successful. Eventually, I stopped creating almost entirely.

Around the same time, I was living with depression. It was gardening that quietly helped me find my way back. There was something deeply comforting about watering a plant, watching new leaves unfurl, and feeling the earth in my hands. For a little while, everything else became quieter.

That experience changed the way I see nature.

Now I write poetry, paint, and spend time in gardens and forests whenever I can. My work isn’t about escaping difficult emotions; it’s about finding small moments of peace within them.

Every painting is an invitation to pause, breathe, and remember that growth is often slow, quiet, and almost invisible until one day you realize you’ve been healing all along.
