Tokai Custom Edition SD402 neck and matching body set believed to be from around 1987, made in Japan.
This set appears to originate from the Tokai Custom Edition SD402 series. The neck and body are offered together as a matching project set.
The alder body features an SSH routing configuration with the original two-point tremolo route and rear electronics cavity. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard and 22 frets. Original neck plate, neck screws, string retainer, and mounting hardware shown in the photos are included.
The finish shows natural signs of age including scratches, chips, dents, finish wear and discoloration consistent with long-term use. The neck appears straight, and the truss rod has been tested . Frets show normal wear but retain good usable height.
The body has routing stamps inside the pickup cavity, and the neck heel is marked "3-12". Please review all photographs carefully for cosmetic condition.
