HERE WE HAVE A LIONEL 682 6-8-6 TURBINE STEAM ENGINE & 2046W-50 PENNSY WHISTLE TENDER. THIS STEAM ENGINE & TENDER ARE BOTH IN GOOD LOOKING CONDITION. THIS WAS ONLY MADE FOR 1954-55. THIS WAS PART OF SETS 2217WS & 2245WS. THIS WAS THE LAST TURBINE MADE BY LIONEL. THIS HAS BEEN TESTED AND IT DOES NOT RUN. THE WHEELS DO NOT TURN AT ALL. THIS MADE NOISE AND THE E-UNIT DID CYCLE BACK AND FORTH, BUT IT WOULD NOT MOVE. THIS WILL NEED TO BE FIXED, CLEANED AND SERVICED TO GET THIS BACK TO GOOD RUNNING CONDITION. THE HEADLIGHT DID WORK WHEN TESTED. THIS DID SMOKE WHEN TESTED. THIS HAS NOT BEEN RUN OR USED IN A LONG TIME. THIS STEAM ENGINE AND TENDER BOTH HAVE SOME PLAYED WITH AND WEAR ISSUES TO AGE. THESE BOTH HAVE SOME MARKS & OTHER PLAYED WITH ISSUES TO THEM. THE STEAM ENGINE HAS SOME PAINT LOSS TO IT. THE DECAL IN THE FRONT IS IN GOOD SHAPE. THE TENDER HAS NO BROKEN STEPS. THE TENDER IS BROKEN & CRACKED IN THE BACK. THIS STARTS BELOW THE SCREW AND GOES ALL THE WAY UP TO THE TOP OF THE TENDER. THE TENDER HAS BEEN TESTED AND IT DOES NOT WORK. THIS JUST MADE A LITTLE NOISE. THE TENDER WILL NEED TO BE FIXED, CLEANED AND SERVICED TO GET THIS BACK TO GOOD WORKING CONDITION. OVERALL THIS STEAM ENGINE & TENDER ARE BOTH IN GOOD LOOKING CONDITION EVEN WITH THE ISSUES THESE BOTH HAVE. THIS IS AN ESTATE SALE FIND. SHIPPING

I ship with the USPS. I use all forms available from the USPS to deliver your package safely and quickly. In some cases items could be shipped via UPS. I DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONAL. PLEASE DO NOT ASK. S/H charges are fixed for each item. I will combine S/H for all multiple auction winners. All items will ship priority mail or 1st class mail with delivery confirmation included. All lots & larger items will be shipped based on box diminions, weight and the winning buyers zip code. I try and get the S/H as close as possible. I do issues refunds for S/H when it is less than I charged the buyer for. Please see feedback as well for this. ****EFFECTIVE 1/01/15 ALL ITEMS AND PACKAGES WILL SHIP WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION. I do not offer refunds for trains or antiques in most cases. All items are pictured and described to the best of my ability.
