an imaged view of 18th-century Dublin: The Rotunda Hospital, on Rutland Square 
(now Parnell Square in central Dublin).

At Parnell Square (then Rutland Square), this was the world's first
purpose-built maternity hospital. The pleasure gardens helped to fund
the hospital."
