This listing is for a 20‑coin mixed roll consisting of 10 Morgan silver dollars and 10 Peace silver dollars, all 90% silver and in circulated condition. These silver dollars belonged to my grandmother (“Nana”); she kept them in an old change purse for decades. Her brother‑in‑law, Al Markowitz, owned a tavern in Elizabeth, NJ, and whenever she saw silver dollars in the till, she exchanged paper dollars for the coins. This was during the late 1930s–40s, when silver dollars still circulated in local gin mills! The coins have remained in the family ever since and are now kept in a plastic coin tube.

Dates and Mint Marks:
Morgan Dollars (10 coins): 1878, two 1879, 1882, two 1889, 1903, and three 1921s; mint marks include two O‑mint (New Orleans) coins and one S-mint (San Francisco) coin; the remaining are Philadelphia.
Peace Dollars (10 coins): two 1922, seven 1923, and one 1926
Mint marks include three S‑mint (San Francisco) and the rest are Philadelphia.
Condition:
The coins show honest circulation wear and fall generally in the VG to VF range, with most grading Fine to Very Fine! Some coins display natural toning or darkened surfaces from long-term storage, while others retain attractive original luster. None have been cleaned, polished, bent, or damaged; these are not cull coins.
Provenance & Notes:
These coins have been in my family and were never part of a dealer‑assembled roll. They have not been altered or processed in any way. I do have cats and since they love to supervise the photography process, a stray cat hair is always possible! If you have severe allergies, please take this into consideration before bidding.
