FINEST ANTIQUE WORCESTER TEAPOT

Exceptionally rare and hard to find shape .

We found a similar example as sold by Bonhams 16th March 2004 from the Zolensky Collection.

Another example of this teapot is illustrated and described in "Coffee Pots and Teapots" -
Henry Sandon pl 85 , This time from the Shand Kydd collection.

This diminuitive Teapot is approx 5 and 1/2 inches / 140mm across...
Has the "W" morkman mark to base.

Condition as shown : It has a hairline above the spout and a more significant treated hairline around the base and there is the filled repair to the spout.
