The product is a collection of original 18x24 cartoon pages from the Chicago World-Herald newspaper dating back to 1921. These comic strips were created by artists and writers such as Bud Fisher and featured various characters within the series. The pages showcase a black and white style typical of US comics and represent a piece of history from the United States. This unique collection offers a glimpse into the entertainment and humor of the early 20th century through the artwork and storytelling found within these vintage comic strips.
Notes: printed in a rag style paper so these are not thin and brittle like the usual paper.
Strips: Mutt and Jeff, Petey Dink, Somebody’s Steno, Snoodles, Rube Goldberg strip (each has its own title)
Ink is light blue, not black. Missing the Monday strip. Mailed in a sturdy tube. I scanned one back side. All are classified ads, no art at all. These are not scans or copies although I have no idea as to the blue ink color.
