Rare! Vintage ‘Hopetoun’ 1983 Lee Jofa Screen Printed Floral Fabric Cotton L256 X W312
Rare to find such a large quantity of this high quality screen printed early 1980’s Lee Jofa floral fabric with floral and classical motifs. It is very on trend with the Grand Millennial aesthetic for Country House Interiors
This huge piece of fabric is from a huge dismantled vintage curtain. It consists of 2 widths and and additional part width with 2 joins to make a 312cm width, the narrowest panel is 256cm long, the other two have a few additional cm’s length.
Purchased from a Vintage Fayre, but haven’t got around to using . I have carefully laundered in Ecover Zero and white vinegar fabric softener so it is fresh and clean and there are no fabric softener odours.
There are some light marks and stains to the original bottom edge of the piece as detailed in the photos but in the context of the stone colour background they are barely noticeable and would become lost if remade into curtains, there’s plenty of length to allow these areas to be cut around though.
