The antique brass filagree gas ceiling fixture or chandelier is a medium-sized Victorian-style chandelier made of brass, with a gold color. The fixture has been disassembled and cleaned thoroughly and the raw brass has been lightly polished, but not lacquered. There are still some blemishes on the brass tubing and burners. The fixture is 24" wide from burner to burner and 34" long from the attachment nipple to the bottom of the finial. The distance from the canopy to the bottom of the finial is 30". One burner is complete with the ceramic burner tip. The other one is missing. The filagree ball is 4" in diameter. The burners have 3-1/4" fitters for globes. This antique original piece from the United States dates back to before 1890, adding a touch of vintage charm to any space. This fixture was removed from a large Victorian house in the neighborhood when it was converted to electrical lighting in the first quarter of the 1900's. It has been in storage since then. It could probably be electrified fairly easily. Perfect for those looking to add a unique and historical touch to their home or architectural project, this chandelier exudes a timeless elegance and craftsmanship that is sure to impress. Shipped partially disassembled (center shaft,2 arms, 2 burners).
