1:18 UT MODELS Porsche Boxster S (986) 1997 Metallic Blue / Red 27862

Thank you for viewing our listing for this 1:18 scale model of the 986 generation Porsche Boxster S, manufactured by UT Models (27862).

The model features a diecast body with plastic details. It is a fully opening model and has a good representation of the interior. The model features functioning steering. It is presented in a nice dark metallic blue over a red interior, a classy combination! It features red brake calipers with Porsche logos.

The model is in excellent, used condition and still has its transport straps in place for the doors. Unfortunately the box is poor with discolouration all over and some delamination of the shiny finish in places. The box window is also loose in a couple of places. There is some slight discolouration/marks to the plastic base the model sits on. Please view all of the images to help gain a better understanding of any damaged areas.

This is a nicely detailed model of the first generation of Boxster, a car which played its part in keeping Porsche afloat. It would make a great addition to any Porsche enthusiast's collection!

ABOUT US - TEST TRACK MODELS

Hi, I'm Tom, a model railway lifer and car tragic. I've spent many, many hours working on model railway layouts at home, being roped-in by my dad at a young age! I also have a passion for cars and used to collect 1:18 scale examples.

With over 10 years' experience buying & selling on eBay and having spent all of my working life in different levels of retail I decided to take a risk, leave my career and set up Test Track Models, intending to bring good value to a strong selection of pre-owned model railway items, cars of all scales and perhaps the other odd thing in between.

It's been exciting so far (and a steep learning curve) and I look forward to where it might end up.

I commit to reusing packaging where I can to lessen any impact, and using options such as paper packing tape.

With thanks,
Tom
