OIS – OEM Impedance Simulation

The ZDSP8 is equipped with OEM Impedance Simulation (OIS), ensuring compatibility with modern head units and amplifiers. By simulating speaker impedance, it maintains the functionality of your vehicle’s OEM head unit and prevents potential issues in OEM installations.

Input Priority

The Input Priority feature ensures effortless integration with your vehicle’s OEM head unit. You can use low-level inputs or digital sources such as wireless streaming, Optical, or Coaxial, without losing vital system sounds like parking sensors, alerts, and radio signals. For instance, if your vehicle has a high-pass filter that limits bass output, you can bypass this limitation by streaming audio directly to the DSP via wireless streaming while maintaining full OEM functionality.

Preset Switch Trigger

The Preset Trigger lets you instantly switch between two sound profiles using a 12V signal. It toggles between the active preset and preset 6 – ideal for setups where listening conditions change. For example, in a motorhome, you can have one preset tuned for driving and another for when parked.

With a simple 12V trigger connection, the DSP automatically switches presets – no manual adjustment needed.
