Very good cosmetic condition but sadly the is a fracture to one of the eye rims (see attached photos). This fracture means I would not use the crackers for fear of more serious damage. However, despite this the nut crackers are completely stable & perfectly ok for display purposes.

Original Victorian period High Gothic style nut crackers after A. W. N. Pugin made by Elkington & Co.  Silver plated finish.


Marks: EM&Co; V; E&Co shield logo.

 

Dimensions: approx 5¼ inches long, 10¼ inches when both arms are fully extended.
