New-old-stock Tungsram EL12 power pentodes in their original Tungsram Radio boxes, each tested excellent. Three available, price per tube.
All three tested strong on Tesla BM-215A - well above minimum.
No direct equivalents confirmed.
Related by different maximum ratings: EL12/325, EL12/375, EL12N. Parallel type on a different base: EL6. The EL34 was the later successor - not a drop-in.
The EL12 is an 18-watt power output pentode developed by Telefunken and introduced in 1938 on the German Steel Y8A base. It offered nearly twice the output of the earlier EL5, and became a common choice for the larger German and European radios and amplifiers of the late 1930s through the 1950s where higher power was wanted. It sits directly in the lineage that led to the EL34, and remains an interesting output tube for period German receiver restoration.
Boxed NOS EL12 output pentodes, all testing strong - only three left. Secure yours for that German receiver rebuild.
