Publisher: Duckworth & Co. 1900 first edition. Bound in blue cloth with an illustration laid on. Good plus condition, spine darkened, endpapers splitting along the hinge, but the binding is tight, some scuffing to the cover illustration, owner initials on the front endpaper, occasional isolated marks here and there, otherwise clean. One page has a missing lower corner, not affecting any text. Illustrated with 12 monochrome plates by G. P. Jacombe-Hood, and numerous illustrations within the text, many signed "Wyemarke". 23 cm, 9 inches, tall, 8pp prelims, 84 pages.
