The FSPD140 Level 2 Whole House Surge Protection Device protects your home with 140kA surge current protection (Rated for 140,000 Amps). Compatible with any brand of 120/240V load centers and circuit breakers

Features:
1) 140kA surge current protection. For use in 120/240V, Single Phase, 3-Wire Applications. 200kA short circuit current rating; 20kA I-nominal rating. Provides all modes of protection (L-N, L-G, N-G)

2) The FSPD140 surge protector has an audible alarm and LED indicator notification (audible alarm, protection status LED, red service LED). Visual LED protection status indicators and audible alarm to notify homeowners when the SPD needs to be replaced

3) The second-level SPD further absorbs residual surge energy passed through the surge arrester at the power supply entry point and provides excellent suppression of transient overvoltages. It protects equipment inside buildings from indirect lightning strikes and switching overvoltages. It is typically installed in distribution boxes, with the main feature of handling currents with an 8/20μs waveform

4) Externally parallel-connected and intended to be installed adjacent to electrical equipment. Verify the rated voltage matches the distribution system before installing the SPD.
